As an educational leader, one of the key components of your role is to support and promote continuous improvement. It is the role of the leader to set the vision and tone for the pedagogy. The team’s role is to enact the vision. A team comprises diverse individuals, each with their own beliefs, values, morals, education and lived experience. So, this two-part process (design and implementation) is never as simple as it sounds. Communication is critical to moving a team towards a culture of continuous improvement. The focus of this webinar is effective communication strategies. Strategies that inspire, develop and support the implementation of a culture of improvement. We will look at the different opportunities available to assist a team’s engagement in the continuous improvement process through conversations and reflection and some strategies and tips around ‘getting everyone on the same page’. We will also discuss how, by building your effective communicational skills and a little emotional intelligence, you can move the role to one focussed on facilitation and inspiration.
