Giving and receiving feedback isn’t always easy, but it can transform communication, relationships, and team culture when done well. This webinar explores the art of effectively giving and receiving feedback, emphasising its importance in supporting teams’ personal and professional growth. Whether you are a director, educational leader, team leader, or team member, you will need to give and receive feedback. Everyone has to do it, yet few do it comfortably.

In this practical session, we’ll explore key principles of effective feedback, including types of feedback, best practices for giving and receiving input, and how to respond with openness and reflection. Participants will be introduced to models like SBI and DESC, strategies for managing emotions, and tips for turning feedback into meaningful action. You’ll leave with practical tools and takeaways you can apply right away.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this webinar, you will:

1. Understand the purpose and value of engaging in ongoing feedback with teams

2. Explore individual opportunities for providing feedback which are contextualised to your setting and individual educators

3. Learn strategies to monitor feedback strategies and effectiveness and build on them

4. Develop meaningful approaches for supporting team feedback practices and building feedback into the teams’ culture and daily practices.
